Destiny Volunteers, Koforidua, Ghana, West Africa

Destiny Volunteers is a non-governmental organization (NGO) and a charity based in Ghana, Africa that seeks to volunteer in the following areas,

HEALTH; clinical/hospital placement and community health education.
EDUCATION; to improve access to quality education{provision of teaching aids, teachers etc}

RESEARCH; on behalf of students research, institutional research, individual research etc.

ENVIRONMENT; this is to help make Ghana green; planting of trees, water projects, etc.

AGRICULTURE/FARM; teaching local farmers on modernize/technological farm practice to increase their out put, helping on farm to harvest or planting of crops, fruits, vegetables and more, help in farm management etc.

INTERCULTURAL PROGRAMS.

CONSTRUCTION/BUILDING;{schools, clinics/hospitals, library, etc}
But long term programmes could be arranged for volunteers who are interested in longer stay for months, a year or more.

International and African volunteers work together on a month{s} or more projects in the above mentioned areas. Everyone is welcome to apply for the volunteering projects, since there will be some days' training in the issues to be addressed. Destiny Volunteers offers worthwhile, exciting volunteering opportunities in Africa, bringing benefits to the communities as well as the volunteers.
