Easy Scholarships Foundation (ESFON) is absolutely a non profitable, non governmental, non religious, rather a pure humanitarian organization.

ESFON is located on the Liberian Refugee Camp, Buduburam with in the Central region of Ghana. The camp is 45 kilometers from Accra, the Capital city of Ghana.

It had been a very long time dream for us to have a organize NGO which will functions in filling in the gaps for needy people especially the kids who happens to be the future leaders. The urgent need of education which have been highlighted in the minds of all Liberian Refugees in Ghana. But the million dollars question is “How can one get Educated?

It is in this light that we Brownell S. D. Paelay Sr. and Pablo Fernández (Founders) are dutifully responding to the call of a great commission to be able to give Scholarships for Liberian Refugees in Buduburam, Ghana.

ESFON is gear toward giving Refugees (children) Education which many of them have been deny due to the civil war in Liberia and the high rate of living on Camp Buduburam.

ESFON is created to give Refugees Children, Women and others Venerable individuals their basic needs, sound education, Vocational skills training, good Sanitation and Medication. Which many of Liberians have been deny due to the low standard of living on Buduburam Refugee Camp.

Our mission is to identify the less fortunate, unaccompanied kids and other venerable individuals and give them basic education and vocational Skill training. We shall also conduct regular workshops to train and educate refugees about HIV/AIDS and other STDs, Sanitation and Health, Peace Building and Conflict resolution and shall organize sporting activities.

Our approach and activities are based on the Microfinance Plus model, which focuses on providing solutions to key problems that the poor face which prevent them from saving and growing their businesses. Chapter 58 strongly believes that access to credit and saving services is only a small part of raising the economically active poor out of poverty and that the most effective, long-term solution is permanent access to credit within the framework of comprehensive, continuing support services. Much more importantly, we believe that focused education and innovative business strategies based on the needs of the economically active poor are critical to improving our clients' standards of living.

To this end, the five Community Based Credit Associations we operate in Accra, Somanya, and Kpong provide 160 small scale urban and rural entrepreneurs with access to commercial savings services, affordable credit, practical and life skills training as well as health screening services all aimed at increasing the productivity and efficiency of their micro enterprises.

In the Upper West Region of Ghana we assist 12 additional rural Community Based Women's Organizations, including more than 420 women, through the provision of appropriate linkages to training programs and technical advice to develop their capacities to produce, market, and export shea products.

The weekly meetings of our Credit Associations provide valuable business training and education, as well as a useful forum for clients to network, exchange ideas, and learn from their fellow micro entrepreneurs. In addition to credit and savings services, we at Chapter 58 strive to provide comprehensive micro enterprise education and services.

We educate our clients about appropriate and affordable technologies and business practices that can improve micro business efficiency and earn higher returns on investments for our clients.

The average client of our microfinance program is able to benefit from a loan as small as 50GH¢ (50US$). At Chapter 58 we encourage our clients to use loans to build their businesses' asset bases, increasing their ability to weather future hardships and increasing the value of their businesses.

Destiny Volunteers, Koforidua, Ghana, West Africa

Destiny Volunteers is a non-governmental organization (NGO) and a charity based in Ghana, Africa that seeks to volunteer in the following areas,

HEALTH; clinical/hospital placement and community health education.
EDUCATION; to improve access to quality education{provision of teaching aids, teachers etc}

RESEARCH; on behalf of students research, institutional research, individual research etc.

ENVIRONMENT; this is to help make Ghana green; planting of trees, water projects, etc.

AGRICULTURE/FARM; teaching local farmers on modernize/technological farm practice to increase their out put, helping on farm to harvest or planting of crops, fruits, vegetables and more, help in farm management etc.

African American Homeschoolers Networ, Agogo, Ghana, West Africa

The African American Homeschoolers Network (AAHN) is an organization established for families seeking educational resources. Founded by Meka Hunt and Akosua Boateng in 2002, the network has grown consistently.

AAHN is partnered with the Youth Institute of Science and Technology (YIST) located in Accra, Ghana.

This NGO provides education to children in Africa. It has a training and internship program for teachers.

This program allows students in American colleges to travel to Africa to learn valuable teaching skills and practice their skills in the classroom. YIST includes GIST, an educational program specifically designed for the education of girls.
