West Africa Network For Peacebuilding Wanep, Accra, Ghana, West Africa

A West Africa region characterized by just and peaceful communities where the dignity of the human person is paramount and where the people can meet their basic human needs and decide their own direction.

WANEP's mission is to enable and facilitate the development of mechanisms for cooperation among civil society based peacebuilding practitioners and organizations in West Africa by promoting cooperative responses to violent conflicts; providing the structure through which these practitioners and institutions will regularly exchange experience and information on issues of peacebuilding, conflict transformation, social, religious and political reconciliation; and promoting West Africa’s social cultural values as resources for peacebuilding.

Divog - Disaster Volunteers Of Ghana, Ho, West Africa

Disaster Volunteers of Ghana (DIVOG) is a volunteer based, non profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organisation (NGO) registered in Ghana and working to assist in the improvement of the lot of the vulnerable and deprived in society through volunteer programs and projects in education, health and community initiated programs and other integrated rural development projects that worked in developing countries.

DIVOG Volunteer Programs head office is based in Ho Municipality which is the Volta Region of Ghana. DIVOG has worked with some individual volunteers of the American Peace Corps Ghana, Stacy Kreger in Awudome Senior High School, and Peter Sodden in Amedzofe Community in their communities. Some staff of DIVOG also worked with DC Care International, Evangel Community Mission, Ghana, Save Windows and Orphanage Development Center and International Medical Student Volunteers from the Section for Tropical Medicine, Slovenia.
